SACRAMENTO, December 1 – State Senate District Six candidate Angelique Ashby today received the endorsement of Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (D- Orinda).

Ashby has also been endorsed by the California Democratic Legislative Women’s Caucus and the National Women’s Political Caucus California, as well as a number of other legislators including retiring District Six State Senator Richard Pan, M.D., Assemblymember Jim Cooper, and Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry. Ashby currently represents Sacramento City Council district one and serves as Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Sacramento. Senate District Six includes the City of Sacramento, Elk Grove, West Sacramento, and most of Sacramento County.
