28-year Veteran of the Board of Supervisors Joins Host of Elk Grove Leaders Backing Ashby in Senate District 8 Contest
SACRAMENTO – Today, Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli announced that he has endorsed Angelique Ashby for Senate District 8.
Supervisor Nottoli has served five terms as a member of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors since he was elected in 1994, and represents the cities of Elk Grove, Galt, Isleton and Rancho Cordova as well as portions of unincorporated Sacramento County.
“Supervisor Nottoli’s decades of service have made an undeniable mark on the city of Elk Grove and the entire Sacramento region,” said Angelique Ashby. “It is an honor to add his name to our growing list of supporters in the South County.”
Nottoli joins a number of city, county and regional leaders in Elk Grove who have endorsed Ashby, including:

Ashby currently represents Sacramento City Council District 1 and serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Sacramento. Senate District 8 includes the cities of Sacramento and Elk Grove, and most of Sacramento County.
