SACRAMENTO – Today, California Senate District 8 candidate Angelique Ashby unveiled her first television ad, “Problem Solver,” one week ahead of ballots being mailed out to voters.
The ad, which can be seen here, hit Sacramento region airwaves on May 2. “Problem Solver” highlights a number of Ashby’s key accomplishments in her 12 years as a Sacramento City Councilwoman, including helping to secure funding for 42 miles of levees, delivering COVID-19 assistance, and pushing to pass school bonds and funding for libraries and parks.
Ashby currently represents Sacramento City Council District 1 and serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Sacramento. Senate District 8 includes the cities of Sacramento and Elk Grove, and most of Sacramento County.
