Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan Endorses Angelique Ashby for State Senate

SACRAMENTO, December 1 – State Senate District Six candidate Angelique Ashby today received the endorsement of Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (D- Orinda).

“I am excited to support Angelique Ashby for State Senate,” said Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan. “I know that Angelique will do the work and fight for the values of her constituents, and her passion and work ethic will make her a fantastic colleague in the Legislature.”

Ashby has also been endorsed by the California Democratic Legislative Women’s Caucus and the National Women’s Political Caucus California, as well as a number of other legislators including retiring District Six State Senator Richard Pan, M.D., Assemblymember Jim Cooper, and Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry. Ashby currently represents Sacramento City Council district one and serves as Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Sacramento. Senate District Six includes the City of Sacramento, Elk Grove, West Sacramento, and most of Sacramento County.
