SACRAMENTO – Today, California State Senate candidate Angelique Ashby announced that she earned the endorsement of California Women’s List.
“Angelique Ashby is a coalition builder who will continue to bring community members to the table together to make Senate District 8 a better place for her constituents,” said Marissa Roy, President of California Women’s List. “We are thrilled to endorse Angelique and look forward to collaborating with her in the future.”

California Women’s List is a Political Action Committee that endorses, fundraises for, and elects women to public office in California. Since its founding in 2015, California Women’s List has contributed over $95,000 to 50 women running for office.
Ashby currently represents Sacramento City Council District 1 and serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Sacramento. Senate District 8 includes the cities of Sacramento and Elk Grove, and most of Sacramento County.
