SACRAMENTO – The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (SHCCPAC) has endorsed Angelique Ashby for the District Six State Senate Seat.
“On behalf of California’s Latino-owned businesses who represent a growing economic and political force in California, we applaud your candidacy and wish you well as you proceed toward the primary election. We strongly believe that you are well positioned to serve as Senator and that you will well serve the interests of Latinos and all Californians,” noted SHCC PAC Chair Marcus Gomez in the announcement. “…we strongly believe that your potential election is in the bests interests of Californians and including specifically the business owners of this state…SHCCPAC members appreciated your consistent outreach and communications on behalf of your council district and the initiatives you have led in your district on behalf of your constituents.”
The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee represents the interests of Latino businesses and consumers in the greater Sacramento region.
“I am proud of my record in attracting quality, high-wage jobs to Sacramento and helping small businesses succeed,” noted Ashby. “The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber PAC’s endorsement is particularly special to me because of these efforts and my own heritage.”
Currently held by Senator Dr. Richard Pan (who has endorsed Ashby), the District Six seat includes Sacramento, West Sacramento, Elk Grove and other communities in the Greater Sacramento area. Ashby is one of two candidates endorsed for this seat by SHCC PAC.
